Music Pavillon...

From the beginning of June to the end of August, the gates of the Sparkasse Music Pavilion are opened every year in the Linz Danube Park. Every week there are summer evenings full of music and literature.
Various wind ensembles from Linz perform every Thursday and the series “Literature in the Summer” presents poetic art from Linz. Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday there is a diverse mixture of music on the program with folk, pop, blues and vocal music. Then Sunday is the day for jazz lovers.
Since 1991 these attractive cultural offers at no charge for admission have been a fixed feature of the Linz Cultural Summer.
There is no charge for admission to any of the events.

Bad Weather

In case of bad weather, the event for the day is cancelled. You can obtain information about whether an event will take place or not on the same day after 4:00 pm by calling the number +43 732 7070 1777 (Tourist Information Linz, until 7:00 pm) or +43 732 7070 1070 (concierge Old City Hall). From Monday through Friday cancellations are also announced on Radio OÖ (95.2) in the program “Kulturjournal”.
