Hotspot Linz - Wireless

To surf wireless in the internet is already possible on many places in Linz: Free of charge you can surf at Taubenmarkt, at the main station, in the town halls and various "Volkshäuser", in the city libraries or near the Lentos Art Museum.

To enter you need a Laptop, PDA or a mobile-phone with WLAN module. After having chosen „Hotspot Linz“ you will be connected within seconds with http://www.hotspotlinz.at  (new window). Here you find tips how to use it and an actual list of all hotspots. Do not miss to have a look at WikiMap Linz – developed by the Ars Electronica Center for the hotspot-project.

Throughout Linz

In the end there will be about 120 hotspot areas throughout Linz. This project – realized in cooperation of Linz, LIWEST and Ars Electronica – is unique in Austria.
