Administration Management

The Chief Executive Director is the highest ranking civil servant in the Linz City Administration. He is responsible for directing internal operations and other business of the City of Linz within the scope of responsibility of the City Administration. He fulfills his supervisory and leadership functions according to principles of interdisciplinary management. All employees of the City Administration are under his supervision.

The six group supervisors are responsible for the supervision of the operations groups. The heads of the bureau of each operations group and their staff are under their supervision. They are responsible for the relevant framework conditions, for coordination and cooperation among the organizational units of the field of operations, and for defining the general and specific objectives and schedules of these fields.
