City Library Linz

The City Library of Linz is a modern book-, information- and communication centre and provides access to literature and knowledge for everyone.

You can find 250,000 items from all fields of knowledge. Besides books you can borrow newspapers, games, DVDs, CD-ROMs, videos, cassettes and musical notes.

The Service-Center in the Knowledge Tower and 10 branches offer other services for citizens: Linz Aktivpass, parking cards for residents, registration for courses at the Volkshochschule, compulsory registration system and lost-and-found property office.
