The branch of Nordico in the Old City Hall offers ideal basic information about the history of Linz, from prehistoric times to the communal projects of the present. LinzGenesis also provides an overview of the special features of the city, including the  most famous personalities (Johannes Kepler, Anton Bruckner and Adalbert Stifter), outstanding economic aspects (the woolen factory and LD method), the less congenial involvement in the history of National-Socialism and the fate of Linz as divided city.

The show room, which is located at the Old Town Hall near the LinzGenesis museum, is dedicated to the historical development of dentistry.
The visitor sees how dentistry has changed since the 17th century, considering numerous devices and tools, starting from a simple barber-stool to the first dental drills operated by foot as well as the first fluoroscope.
