Crib City Linz

From the end of November until Christmas, the Upper Austrian capital is changed into a glittering crib city. Several hundred cribs of different shapes from all over the world are exhibited in shopping windows of the inner city, as well as churches and museums. A free crib city brochure with all the locations is available at the tourist information office as of November 2011.

Guided crib tours for groups
€ 90,00 (max. 40 people; smaller groups advisable!)
During the guided tour you also visit special cribs. Part of the ticket sale will be donated to charity projects.

Crib exhibition at the Castle Museum
November 26, 2011 – February 2, 2012
The impressive crib collection of the castle museum not only offers an overview of traditional cribs but also Christmas scenes of the 17th century. Some of the highlights are the baroque cabinet crib, huge landscape cribs from the lake-district as well as a mechanic cabinet crib from the Schwanthaler manufactury.
